It's OUR World! - Benefit-Photo-Exhibition

at the Afro-Asian Institute Graz

17th - 20th December 2011

With his photographs and stories the German journalist and photographer Mitja Rietbrock gives a voice to the world's disadvantaged children. He takes pictures during his work and personal travels. The photos are shown at exhibitions around the world.

The aim of the project IT's OUR World! is to stimulate the viewers to think about what kind of world they offer their children. Furthermore, the sale of the pictures benefit children's projects in different countries. In the past few years projects in Senegal, Israel, Hungary, New Caledonia, Russia, South Africa and Cuba have been supported financially.

All signed photos shown at the exhibition are for sale. The price per photo is 50,- €. The benefits will directly go to Le Donja. Le Donja will implement a project in Cambodia.

Through the website www.its-our-world.com you can order more than 60 photos of children from more than 40 countries. On the website you can find documentation of the supported projects, previous exhibitions and international press info about the projects.

Furthermore on the night of the opening there will be a screening of "K 11 - Confessions of a Sex Tourist" (38 min).

The exhibition is co-organised and curated by Maria G.B. Stumpfl.
